The HD I went to doesn't make you pay anything until you are done and return the machine. They take a swipe of your credit card, but don't finalize it till you return. So leftover bags don't get charged.
I did the space above a bedroom that the builder forgot last weekend. I used the AttiCat stuff from HD.

Guessing I'm asking where I would find a circuit breaker that isn't designed to go in a panel box? One that I can either wire to make an extension/adapter cord. I know it will work, just not sure how to find one?
Is there any type of inline circuit breaker that i could use to plug a 220v 15amp device into a 220v 40amp outlet? I know it isn't code, but I don't feel like wiring a whole new outlet and circuit.
I like the idea of pex. Looks like it is better suited to expanding if the pipe ever freezes. I will probably run a full size line since I may use it for a hose outside too.
Moving the kitchen fridge to the garage. It would be nice to hook up the ice maker. However the garage isn't insulated yet, so the line will be going through uninsulated walls. Do they make insulated ice maker line? Should I run a full water line to the ice maker then the small ice maker...
Mine took about 3-4 months total. 10 outlets, 6 light switches, 6 indoor lights, and 6 outdoor lights, 1 220amp outlet and a sub-pannel.
I had never done any large scaling wiring projects so some of it was live and learn. Some of it had to be done twice to correct my errors. But in the...
It seems odd but somehow it is easier to get more torque on a tough screw sometimes. The ones I had were cheap harbor freight type things that I got years ago. The hex on the shank would work too, but it looks a bit small.
I was looking around the sears site for some b-day ideas for myself.
I have some old screwdrivers that have a hex on the end of the handle. It allows you to put a socket or wrench on the end of the screw driver. I can't seem to find any new ones like this. Has anyone ever seen these or know where to buy them?
I have both the 4ft T8 and 8ft T8. The 8ft ones cause the RFI, while the 4ft ones are fine. I will try to get a picture of my ballast on the 8ft ones to see if they are similar to others.
When I did it I gave sandals. May sound odd but the sandals have a bottle opener in the sole. It was the best gift, every guy like them. What's better than having a bottle opener all the time. They aren't too cheap, but still worth it.

I voted in the poll. I too have RFI interference; some FM stations are ok, but none are good. Of course the ones that I want to listen to are horrible. I have 4 Lithonia 8' T8 lights and 2 4' T8 lights. Turn on the switch and the car radio, or wired radio goes to static. I was beginning to...
Is there such a kit? I have natrual gas in my house and it would be pretty nice if I could just hook it up to that and not have the propane tank sitting around taking up space.
