Best Tool to Receive for Christmas

Kreg Jig - $100 dollars I didn't want to buy it so I asked for it but as far as woodworking goes, one of the greatest gifts I have been given.

I wish people didn't refer to my workshop as a "Man Cave"

Whenever a member of the opposite *** names your shop, you know that it is mistake to continue calling it that. Also, if I were to refer to my shop as a cave, it sure as hell would not be called the man cave, it would be called the Batcave.

I agree completely. Plus the nice things about the burbs in Georgia is that its only about a 30 min drive to be out in the country in some areas. You can take the dirt roads away from a farm boy but he will sure as hell find them sooner or later.

    Howdy from GA

I was living in Alpharetta before we moved to Duluth and my commute was about 40 min to get 9.8 miles. Back home, 9.8 miles took 10 min. But other than traffic I love GA. Sitting at 70 degrees in December ain't too bad.

    Lets see your workbench

Here is my workbench, was my first project and used ideas from multiple sites online. It's a work in progress as well as you can see from the addition of the TV mount stereo system and additional storage. Always looking for cool ways to upgrade my bench, so if you have any ideas please share!

I am in Duluth, which is still the city to me. Don't think I can handle downtown traffic.

    Howdy from GA

Just wanted to introduce myself, stumbled upon this forum yesterday and haven't been able to pull myself away from the site. I am a farm boy from Illinois that just moved to the big city of Atlanta and started missing working on tractors so I picked up wood working as a hobby. Looking forward to...
