I sprayed some dry lube on the channels the nylon blocks run on.I think it was made by the PB blaster co. I didnt want to use a wet lube since that can attract dirt.

A farmer I know had a pole building put up in the early -mid 80s with the built up posts. The company usually used soild posts but in an effort to cut costs switched to the built up. They eventually came back to encase them in concrete after complaints of early rot.
Theres a house on the river here that has 3- 36" culverts poured into the foundation that lets the water run through the entire length of the house at times of flooding.
Just a tip- if you decide to do it in sections(I wouldnt) dig under the previous poured slab about 6"x6" the full length and make sure you get concrete from the new slab pour in this area. It forms a sort of keyway that keeps the slabs from heaving uneven at the joints.

All the lift models I looked at said 4" minimum which is pretty standard.
The models with the cables on the floor are called "floor plate" style.
Standard concrete mix in this area is 3500 psi in 14...
Vibratory plates are just about useless unless you are using sand. Then they still stink compared to a jumping jack. We've banned the vibratory plates on almost all our projects.

As mentioned if the concrete chunks are too big the voids will cause settling. We had a inspector backfill behind new bridge abutments with the old busted up abutments and it took 2-3 years of patching to correct the settlement.
The walk behind compactor & thin clay lifts would be the best fix...
