Well, I still need to find some jaws for it, but I got it stripped and painted. I think it turned out ok. A darker color would have made the bare metal portions pop a bit more, but I figured I'd do something a little different with the GM charcoal metallic grey this time.

I owned that box. It was my first Mac combo and I bought her new in 88 as well. Unfortunately, that one was stolen out of a storage in 91, but has since been replaced with her non anniversary twin.

That would make sense, I've always seen them with a square shaft, so it threw me off.
