Back in the day when everyone still used a traditional top and bottom box combo but big bottom chests were just starting to catch on, Mac made a set of brackets so you could join two 9000 series bottom boxes and essentially create your own "taco stand" style box.
I finally found a second 9000 bottom box of the same era as mine (which I bought new in 92) and am planning on joining them.
The new box needed a LOT of rehab, as it has been in a heavy truck shop since the early 90's, but after a lot of dawn, Purple Power, WD40 and a little brake cleaner, followed by a ton of buffing and polishing, it's a fair partner for my existing combo.
Lot of work, but I only paid 150 for it.
Now I can fabricate the brackets fairly easily, but just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone may have a set of originals laying around.
I don't have a catalog to reference, but if you know you know....
Thanks!
