will the pre made separator lids for ok with mdf or should I just go ahead and build a thein separator. also it will be used with the hf dust collector
I just picked up the 2hp dust collector from harbor freight. Iwant to add a pre sseparator. I mostly cut mdf for car audio builds. what would be the best solution to catch the mdf dust before it gets to the filter. would a dust separator did be sufficient

i was wondering if anyone had put a handle on there top chest lid. i know for me its a pain when by hands are oily or greasy and i need something out of the top and cant get it open because theres no handle. has anyone installed one and any recommendations on what to use

I have the ridgid r4512 table saw and I want to extend the fence to the right for wider cuts. I found a place who sells the parts for the saw and they have the same rails that come on the saw. I was thinking of buying the smaller front and back rails with the pieces that connect them together...
that isn't my setup. just an example pick. I need to find a nice drum to use for the separator. if I find a big enough one, can i just use pvc fittings to make the top section of the separator. iv only found 4" kits pre made
the separator has 4" in and out. I'd like to use it and I'm going to upgrade to a Wynn filter. I'm going to mod the dc so it goes straight into the filter section
