    Well pump wiring

The marking on the wire indicates U/F-B 12-2 w/ ground. It looks rough because it's been exposed to the sun in tall grass for years. I was just curious why two sets of wires would be ran from the trailer to the pump. Maybe an in-line heater since it was a trailer?

    Well pump wiring

We recently purchased some property that previously had a single-wide on it (removed). Looking at the wires left sticking out of the ground, it looks like they ran two 12-2 U/F to the pump instead one 12-3. I thought most well pumps are usually fed with two hots and a ground (two wire), but I...

    What size joist for footbridge...?

Hey guys. I know it might be a bit off topic, but I figure there is some joist knowledge here. This spring I plan on rebuilding and updating an old 16' footbridge on my property that spans a ditch. The current bridge is built of 2X4 that are 16" OC with a duel post/footing in the middle...

    Citrogarage

Very cool shop(s)! How do you like that Trenitalia line right behind your garage??!! Northern Italy is awesome--I spent a few weeks in Vicenza last year. Keep up the good work!

    Most reliable snow blower?

I bought a Husky 24" 2-stage electric start from TSC a few years ago and have had no trouble with it. Starts right up evey winter...even with me neglecting to drain the gas or add sta-bil each spring. I've only had to run it really hard in just a few storms, however.

    Impact sockets

With the exception of a few loose Apex, the HF Pittsburg pros are all I have. I've never had any issues with them after countless tire rotations and lots of light/medium work on my pickup.

    Show your new tool arrivals

Picked up the Ingersoll Rand 3101G angle grinder (left). There was nothing wrong with my old Eagle Industries grinder other than its 14 cfm air consumption which was a tad more than the max 4.5 cfm my compressor puts out. I've heard mixed things about the Edge series tools from IR so time will...

What's your take on Craigslist - a total time-waste, or worth the hassle???

I've done well on CL. Bought a nice set of old lockers for the garage off a guy who wanted practically nothing for them. On the other hand some people want big $$$ for a lawn tractor with a million hours and missing a dozen parts. Often times it ends up a ******* match.
