Icon Snap on long nose talon pliers coming out soon?

I paid $165 for my set like 6 months ago. Also in Hi Viz.

Do you use a ratcheting screwdriver?

I have a cheap Craftsman with the red handle that I've been using for years. I like it a lot. They're very useful to me, both around the house and on my car. They come with all kind of bits and have a magnetic tip. I've dropped it from 5 ft. countless time and it's still going. $20 well spent.

    Fake NGK spark plugs

I didn't even know they make fake spark plugs...

    Tool Cart Suggestion

So I went to HF and checked out some General Pro tool cart. They're definitely not on par with what my dad current has. I guess we're just gonna have to get another Kennedy. They seem to be the best for the price.

    Tool Cart Suggestion

My dad is looking to get a new tool cart to expand his tool set. His most important priority is something that can fit a 24" caliper (he's a machinist), and something with either the same or better quality than his Kennedy cart. I don't know exactly what he currently has but it looks like the...

what brand of electric impact gun to buy?

Anyone have any experience with the Craftsman 1/2 corded impact? It's pretty much the cheapest of the bunch here. So I just wanna get some opinions on it before I get one for Xmas. That Kobalt one do look VERY tempting though...

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

I will definitely consider the Craftsman GSteg suggested. So thank you for that. Now can anyone here tell me the disadvantage of corded impact? The Dewalt and Milwaukee is at the price I'm comfortable with, and they're well made. They also have good power from the specs sheet. Everyone here seem...

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

I'd like to spend $150 or less. I will be using sole for removing lug nuts that are torqued to 80 ft. lbs. And I'm just using it on a hobbyist level, nothing serious. Heck, I'm sure I'll be using it it less than 10 times a year since I rarely work on my parents' car, only my own.

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

Ok. After reading through these very helpful and extremely informative comments, I would just like to say that while it's very nice to have good and reliable tools, I want to spend as little as possible. I'm a college student, and soon to be unemployed in my part time job (too much going on). So...

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

Yeah I was kinda sure the compressor was actually too weak for the impacts. It looks like electric is the way to go for me. Like I said, since cordless Impacts are way out of my price range, I'm just going to buy the corded one. Right now it's look like a very close call between the Dewalt DW293...

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

I have a Porter Cable C2002 air compressor. It's actually my dad's, I have no idea why he bought it. I think because it was on sale. I'm not sure if this is enough to run the HF Earthquake impact. How's everyone's view on the electric impacts? Milwaukee (9071-20) vs. Dewalt (DW293).

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

Oh I forgot to mention that I'm also looking at the corded/electric impacts from either Milwaukee (9071-20) or Dewalt (DW293). The prices of those 2 are as high as I'm willing to go though. I work on the cars inside my garage so it's not too bad at all. Plus if I ever need to take this thing on...

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

Well, it looks like the 1/2 is much more capable of removing the lug nuts, but the 3/8 is better at retightening them since it's much more moderate in power. I should note that I'm using this purely for removing/tightening lug nuts on my family's cars only, which is at 80ft. lbs., conveniently...

    HF Earthquake Pneumatic Impact Wrench

I'm thinking about buying either the 3/8 or the 1/2. I'm going to be using it mostly for changing the wheels on my car. They're only torqued to 80 ft. lbs. The socket included when I bought the lug nuts is a 3/8 drive. However, I've been reading and everyone seem to have the 1/2 impact for...

New to GJ. Looking for tools purchase advice.

Wow! I didn't expect to wake up to this many detailed/informative replies. I'm definitely up considering the Craftsman wrench set MRunabout suggested. I'm also thinking about getting the socket set from Craftsman. They seem to be fairly well made. I'm definitely going to check out the "Tool...
