In my option Stabila is not the “end all be all” in levels. I transitioned to Sola a few years ago. These look like a good option vice Stabila, Sola.

Has anyone had to clean bluestone and not disturb the grout (?) between pieces? I believe a pressure washer will do more damage than good. This is on a staircase and walls to planters. If so what did you do or use? Other recommendations are appreciated. Regards, Bob

I believe it’s an incannel gouge and the bevel is in the correct location.

Ego, on 4/30 will be 5 years, mower, backpack blower and string trimmer. Less the 1/5 acre to mow, very happy with the platform. Mow and use the blower a 7.5 AH battery and a 2.5 or sometimes 2 for the string trimmer.

I got rid of my Stabila levels and switched to Sola. Much easier to read with older eyes. Yes, they are marked “Made in Austria”

I have both Barr and Buck Brothers both are good. I use the the Buck for carpentry applications and the Barr for furniture. For occasional use I’d recommend Buck Brothers. They are readily available (you may have a long wait for Barr) and, price won’t hurt.

I’ve been using an Extech MO55 dual mode meter for 4 years now with no issues. The dual mode is handy as I can heck face of boards without pin holes. I also have a Ligno SDM, if I ever have doubts about the Extech.

I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I’ll let you know in the spring.
