Hi Skiff- Thank you for these excellent suggestions. When you say blocks under the joists are you suggesting concrete blocks? It tends to get quite wet underneath the shed.

Thanks for the tips PoorUB. There' s sentimental attachment to the outhouse so unfortunately I can't from scratch. There is quite bit of rot on the siding as well so I'm looking into replacing that as well. I'm headed out to look for materials now.
