So, I have ended up with a excess amount of 2x6s, and I need more 2x4s... would it be unsportsmanlike like to rip the 2x6s down to a 2x4 and a 2xActually-2" or even just rip the 2x6s into 2xActually-3.25"s? I mean, is it really going to make a difference if my wall studs are 1.5"x3.25" instead...

You would be proud... I went dumpster diving today and scored a couple of 12' long 2x6s about four 12' 2x4s,and a bunch of 6' and 8' 2x4s and 2x6s. Have a lot of nails to remove, but should be very good wood for shed building.

Finally joined up here. After moving 3 times in 10 years, actually 4 times in under 15 years, 5 years later now, I'm finally undoing all of the mess I made and trying to get my 24 x 24 garage shop usable. Been selling, giving away, and throwing out stuff for nearly the last year. Putting up high...
