Snap-On Flank Drive Plus Adjustable Wrenches?

I bought the 4 piece set with the orange handles with my latest Snap-on dividend so technically they were free 😊 the Flank-drive plus feature does make a real difference with regards to slippage on a fastener but it can also damage them

    MAC Tools adjustable wrenches

From Grainger, any non-Taiwan made are old stock, I got a J710L from Raptor supply last year with a 2020 date code

Current production Proto and Clik-Stop are made in Taiwan by Proxene as well, very good quality

    hacksaw

The patent number on my HS16 was applied for in 1979 by Easco tools, they must have Dreiers Brothers prior to that date as Dreiers had already patented the tensioning device

    hacksaw

That design is sadly discontinued, I believe they were made by Dreier brothers who are now out of business. I have a HS16 and can confirm that it is one off it the best designed high-tension hacksaws ever made. Still see them on eBay

Sears blatantly stealing Western forge design

All I’m saying is that sears actions in this case are deceptive at best and damn right theft at worse, given that they could have chosen any ATG design of adjustable wrench but instead chose to imitate the WF design/pattern because of its association with MIUSA

Sears blatantly stealing Western forge design

What I’m saying is it looks as though sears has deliberately had these wrenches made to look all but identical to the WF wrenches with omission of The USA txt in a blatant attempt to pass them of as WF made ie; made in USA when in the very fine print it says china

Sears blatantly stealing Western forge design

Saw these “craftsman “ adjustable wrenches on flea bay today, and thought there sure is a lot of new old stock Western forge adjustable wrenches........ until I saw the small print, MADE IN CHINA. New Chinese craftsman tools aren’t new news but these new Chinese adjustable wrenches are almost...

Not impressed with new Channellocks quality

Main industries manufacture pliers in the UK Anyone who has a beef with Channellock should try Wilde pliers for high quality US pliers, I have both Channellock and Wilde and prefer the Wilde, I think they make Ridgids and Douglas pliers. I couldn’t agree more though about...
