Last step before my next trip. I attached the leatherette on the sides. Not so easy, thanks God I used the Rabbit Glue, It helps a lot.

I used the Renaissance (arrived Yesterday) wax on the wood. After the first layer the result look nice.

I just got Home they are M3, the original one are line threaded, new one that comes with the new hardware are stars threaded. All the ones without thread are rivets.

Just measured, they are M3, length 13.5 mm.

Anyone knows the original screw dimensions? I am not home an I would like to order those online.

Some one mentioned to use some kind of wax to prtect the hardware from the rust, not sure what to use, any idea?

I bought Tolex, but to be honest it is too soft at the touch, nothing bad on it, just different than the original one. I found this one in UK it is not for fourniture but for book covering, more paperish and AXA Lt same feeling that the old original one.

I am thinking to keep it, rust is my concern, what about if i paint with transparent? What do you think?

It was one of the option, but honestly i like the patina that remained on it after the treatment. Not sure yet but i think i will skip it.
