Yes I make a standard or test gauge to make the nuts so I know they’re to spec then make the screws to fit the nut

Acme as I don’t believe square form would be very good 6tpi 1 7/8 diameter. Can’t remember how many passes . It’s almost inconsequential as towards the end small cuts are made to get good fit
