Installed a Jack-e-up on my camper. Allows removing the tongue jack while towing, so no interference with my pickup tailgate.
Also replaced the tongue jack on my camper. The OEM was beat up and fairly flimsy, so I pulled it and put a new heavier duty one on.
Getting ready for a long summer of...
I understood the OP is going to have an electrician do the work, thus it would be the electricians responsibility to make sure he was following code. I am NOT an electrician, but I looked up the code for closets and it seems on the face of it not onerous, with major points about minimum 12 inch...
Bought Hitachi —sucked. NiCad batteries were short-lived.
Purchased Dewalt 20v Max on a really good sale. Good enough for this DIY old fart, so I’ve stayed with that platform.
Finished refinishing wheels on utility trailer. Got them installed and the trailer back on the ground.
Got more tools moved to a new tool chest.
Swept and vacuumed a ****-ton of dirt.
I had the foundation (slab) of a house "stabilized" with the polymer foam method. The foundation had settled in the middle due to excess water under the slab.
As others have said, the first part of the fix was finding the source of the water and eliminating that. That was about $1,500...
Where are you? Location is VERY important in pricing I think.

If it were me I would jump on that if I could get it in writing.
But I'm weird, I actually like pole buildings!
Replaced another window regulator in my BMW 335i. Fourth one. BMW should be ashamed of themselves for this part it is incredibly weak.
I was fortunate enough to have my nephew here this time so I was able to have a
Spare set of hands. This almost always make jobs easier.
Didn't state that they ate it. But my understanding is that Any kind of mulch conserves moisture. That is mulches purpose (plus for the looks). It is the moist environment that encourages termites and lots of other bugs. Placing mulch up against a building also helps termites move into it...
I adopted a new rule several years ago -- no mulch anywhere near a building. I discovered I was breeding termites which then feasted on the house.
Your results may vary.
Yes I am going to close in the ceiling over the porch. Going to put gutters and down spouts all around as well.
We put conduit under the concrete before pouring. The local power coop put in a new power pedestal where the work pole was. So the line comes from the pole underground to the...
Pole barn. 48 x 36 x 12. Concrete floor. 6 ft apron on three sides. Minimal insulation -- moisture control more than temp.
Will be my garage/storage/workshop
Still needs electrical - hope to get started on that this week!
