Pole barn. 48 x 36 x 12. Concrete floor. 6 ft apron on three sides. Minimal insulation -- moisture control more than temp.

Will be my garage/storage/workshop

Still needs electrical - hope to get started on that this week!

Nice looking space :) My free advice for moisture control is some large fans set on lowest speed which run 24x7.

Also I would recommend covering the exposed framing under the lean-to/porch. Some kind of bird will eventually discover this roofed bird-mecca and begin nesting and soiling whatever valuable things are parked underneath. Closing it off to exclude them would be a high priority for me, personally.

Did you do any "stubs" in your foundation/floor for electrical? Are you going to sub-panel from your house or will you have a new service brought to it?

Yes I am going to close in the ceiling over the porch. Going to put gutters and down spouts all around as well.

We put conduit under the concrete before pouring. The local power coop put in a new power pedestal where the work pole was. So the line comes from the pole underground to the pedestal. There are two feeds. One is now wired to the barn and we have a 200 amp panel in there and working on the wiring inside. So far have two circuits set up.

We trenched to the house site, put conduit in and pulled the wire through it.

More to do!!!
