Beat to death I know, need an advanced scan tool

That makes sense. Just as an update, JBtools had the Topdon Phoenix Smart on sale with a few nice freebies, so I jumped on it. I actually called AESwave, and they price matched and took off the cost of one of the free ad-ons. So I got it for a great price with a free battery tester. Hoping this...

Beat to death I know, need an advanced scan tool

I am looking hard at the Launch X431 PAD V, which I can get for $1,800. I was also looking at the LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+, and the Topdon Phoenix Plus, is it worth the jump to the PAD V? I was very interested in the Topdon Smart, but it is on backorder most places and I would like to get a tool by...

Beat to death I know, need an advanced scan tool

Great info, thank you. Great idea on the drew technologies, I actually just looked into it and they will send you all of the required hardware and software for free, and just charge you $125 per programming event. (plus manufacturer fees). This seems like a no brainer. My intentions for the...

Beat to death I know, need an advanced scan tool

I have trouble reading, sorting and processing through a lot of information, so I was hoping you guys could clear some muddy waters. I have been getting into much more advanced repairs for myself, friends and family her at my home shop. I have been getting by with my cheap OBD2 adapter and...

Ranger RX950B tire machine and balancer specs

Are you located in Istanbul? The machines here are single phase, so those issues would not be the same here. Anyone else have any input?

Ranger RX950B tire machine and balancer specs

Hi my neighbor had a small tire business and he suddenly passed away unfortunately. I spoke with his wife about buying the machines, and want to make an offer but can't find the specs or original price of the machines online. Both machines were lightly used and in good condition. I am mostly...

Water separators and regulators...Mainline or at drops?

bump....trying to avoid spending money on a dryer. I feel that with my long sloped run of copper tubing, it will eliminate most of the water. Just want best options for getting rid of the rest.

Water separators and regulators...Mainline or at drops?

Just installed 3/4 copper air lines in my shop. It comes out of my compressor, (2 stage, 175psi) and runs about 40' before the first drop. My mainline is sloped, and my drops come off of the top of the mainline pipe. My main tool usages are blast cabinet, plasma cutter, and air tools, and I...

Shop airline setup, wanna try something a bit different

Thanks guys, as usual a ton of great info. Quick question... My flex line from the compressor to the hard lines.... a lot of guys use hydraulic line (tractor supply?) but I looked today and their 1/2" line (with 3/4 fittings on it) The I.D. of the pipe has to be close to 1/4-3/8", which I feel...

Shop airline setup, wanna try something a bit different

I am using type M copper, and regular solder so I'm sure that's not "approved" as well, however none of the tubing is subject to impact, and if it fails, the worst thing that can happen is a joint blow apart. Even that is unlikely considering the number of straps I have. I feel the same about...

Attaching things to 2 Post Lift?

Self tappers work great. Use heavy duty ones and make sure you are clear on the inside. No need to predrill if you use the good ones. (5/16" hexhead)
