I recently bought a 10 roll package of Scott blue Shop towels. I've used them for several years and was running out. the new batch are nothing like what I'm used to- they are thinner by about 25%, tear almost under their own weight, won't absorb like the old ones do. They are not much better...
Thanks for this video! I searched for videos but didn't come across this one. this is the solution I was thinking would be the answer. the original mechanism is pretty clever, maybe if it had been made to closer tolerances it would work.

I'm using a new Harbor freight 1 ton gantry for the first time and both winches used for raising the columns have jammed while trying to raise them up to full height. I've taken both winches apart, cleaned out any grit, re-greased, etc but no better than before. What gives? does anyone else have...
Model B floor jack, very good condition, ready to use. Mechanical jack, no fluids. original ads say 5,000 lbs capacity.

here is one of the BX cable hacksaws in the magazine page above. the blade has a varied exposure from handle to tip. At the narrow end it can cut through the cable sheath but not cut the wire inside. The original ads say the saw will save time because the electrician doesn't need to walk back...
I've had this jack for a few years but haven't used it often. Steerable front wheels and castering rear wheel. looks like it was popular in the 1920's according to magazine ads. Weaver claimed it was rated for 5,000 pounds. Anyone else have one, or know more about them?

just got one of these planes myself. I am interested in copies of the documentation if you are still offering. I'll be happy to pay copy costs etc.

you might want to check with local building code dept to see if the upstairs can meet the requirements for legal use after your renovation. Otherwise you may be spending a lot of time and money to create something that has no resale value.
