I've had this jack for a few years but haven't used it often. Steerable front wheels and castering rear wheel. looks like it was popular in the 1920's according to magazine ads. Weaver claimed it was rated for 5,000 pounds. Anyone else have one, or know more about them?

I do like the old Weaver garage equipment. Your jack looks to be in good shape and even practical to use. I have a few pieces including the arbor press and the auto ambulance. I think this is one of the advertisements for your jack. Weaver graphics in a lot of their old ads were also pretty cool.

I have a mechanical floor jack that I use to pick up my 57 Ford station wagon. Assuming it is comparable you should be good to use it on a modern car.
