The suspense is killing me!

I bought one of these and it didn't work very well. It had to be in line of sight with each other and the range wasn't very good. Even if it did work the chime sound was very annoying

I think I am just going to clean them up and give them to my son. They were given to me by my dad, and he got them from his dad. I was just thinking it would be cool to put 1/4" parts in them so I can use them, and keep the 9/32 guts if I ever wanted to change them back.

I have acquired 2 snap on ratchets, both are 9/32" drive. One is marked as Midget M-701, and the other is Midget M-70M. I have used the search function to find out as much as I can about these but am still not sure what parts to buy to convert them over to 1/4". Or if any collectors on here are...
