I'm an electrical contractor. I have hooked up several lifts, all outside the columns. I use drill screws into the columns to secure conduit and boxes.

What I did to my house was copper pigtails with No Alox to new devices. I did this in the 80s, I don't think the aluminum wire nuts were available then. I am an electrician.

Sorry guys, I should have mentioned that it will a privacy fence. I plan on fabbing the frame with 1 1/2" square tubing. I don't think I can make a sliding gate work.

I have a 30 ft opening I want to put gates in. I was thinking a gate inside a gate. Most of the time only need a gate to drive thru, but occasionally will need to maneuver a trailer thru it. Thanks
