I think I am in LOVE or at least GREEN with envy!

That's a hell of a deal! Like the docker locker

Installing a laptop on my toolbox...

I use a Panasonic ToughBook (same laptop the military uses) for both my laptop and scan tool. I have a charging station it sits on that is also lockable. I keep it in my hutch which is locked whenever I'm not there.

    Drill Doctor DD750x

I have the 500x and it works great, but i only sharpen my Cobalt bits. Nothing too special about them. But the Dr. sharpens them up good as new, so I'm completely happy with it.

auto specialty tools for the non-technician

Yea that was a wee bit unnecessary. He's just asking a question. Isn't that what a forum is about? If every question was answered with a snarky, low-blow comment. well...

auto specialty tools for the non-technician

IMO, for a DIY'er, I would have to say Interior Plastic Pry tools are pretty high up on my list as a must have. As basic as they may be, they serve their purpose by NOT marring up plastic interior panels while prying & removing them. Flare Nut wrenches and Crowsfeet are nice to have when trying...

    EZ Red Butterfly Sockets

Ohhh yea. They've got quite a bite! They're my last resort before torching when dealing with tie rods. :FIREdevil :flamethro

    looking for a new toolbox

They aren't chromed. They're like a flat silver powder coat. Resists scratches and cleans real easy though! I like them better after using them.

    EZ RED quality level

Those look identical to the SK G Pro series. I found some for $114 from a website called ToolDesk.com. Reliable site? I think I'd rather get EZ RED's version (part # EZRRM6), but they're scarce and no one seems to have them in stock. Advanced Auto seems to have them but how can I be sure? I can...

    EZ Red Butterfly Sockets

Although I've never used EZ RED's version, I've used Matco's and they are great. Put one on a tie rod jam-nut attached to a breaker bar, and it will always crack them loose.

That same Montezuma can be had for under $2K on Strictly. For about $2350, you can have a 72" Classic Series Montezuma which is a full 30" deep. Your call, but for an extra $350 and 6", it'd be a no brainer for me. The 24" Deep Monty...

    Load Pro test leads

It sounds like a "Megger" on a smaller scale that you can plug into any decent DVOM. Where the probe applies voltage through a wire, checking for shorts, opens, or excessive resistance in the circuit by measuring voltage drop. I use my Fluke Insulation Tester 1507 (Megger) on our Hybrid systems...

MATCO dealer trying to sell my box

Very cool! And I'm sure it was a great deal.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Lovin all the Matco stuff in there. Sure will look good in that new green SO! :bounce: You'll have to post new pics when that box comes in. -P.S. My roommate has an EG Hatch with a B18 VTEC that's been Boosted. Fun little car when it's making more power than a brand new corvette...
