EZ Red Butterfly Sockets

Does anybody have any expirience or opinions of the ez red butterfly sockets? do they work?

Although I've never used EZ RED's version, I've used Matco's and they are great. Put one on a tie rod jam-nut attached to a breaker bar, and it will always crack them loose.

i never even thought of them for a tie rod. that tells me they do have a fairly strong grip.

Ohhh yea. They've got quite a bite! They're my last resort before torching when dealing with tie rods.

yes I have them in MAC packaging from years ago. pull them out a few times a year and they are great to have around
