Actually I went with the 30's which I regret. The 39's weren't in stock in Harlig and I didn't want to wait. But I still have MORE than enough storage.

They are absolutely IKEA cabinets. The whole setup of cabinets including the countertops, legs, etc. etc. was $1500. No WAY you can find anything near as good quality for the same price.

Ask all the questions you want! The ceiling height is just a shade over 12 feet. The casters are for the four post lift. It can be repositioned if so desired (not that I would).

Finally starting to take shape. Still have to adjust the doors but looking good!

I got my garage cabinets from IKEA. Looks great and I went with their beech countertops. Work great and if they get banged up you can sand. Or replace for $40 a piece....

Actually it's BMW blue...had the paint shop match the blue in the BMW logo (we have two BMW's and one MERC so BMW wins :)). I ordered a stainless steel topped Sear 6 foot workbench and have some cabinets on the way...going to be fully built out! :pimpflash

Painting is done, cove base install this week, cabinets & work bench ordered. This time next week I should have a fully completed garage!!!! By then my X5 will be out of the shop so it can be in its home too! :thumbup:

Thanks everyone for the advice. The only true answer seems to be there are multiple answers!!!! I am going to research the cost to implement black pipe and do that if it isn't too difficult. If not I am going to go with the soft piping setup.
