Bonus! Was able to get the useless anchor out today. Well, half of it. The other half got buried. Epoxy anchor is saying it'll arrive on Saturday. So might be lifting on Sunday.

For sure man! We had it raised about 30" of the floor and stopped to bleed air out. When I said "Let's raise it all the way up" my son said "You mean it goes higher?" lol! He loved it. We'll never want to use jack stands again.

Had one anchor that didn't bite. How have you guys pounded the old one down? Rebar? May also try to pull it out the top. My son and I were working together but the epoxy in this hole dried before I got the anchor in. Yay. Drilled it out but I'm fairly sure it made the hole bigger. Tried...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Nearly finished the MaxJax install. Had one anchor that didn't bite. Have an epoxy anchor on the way. Hopefully I can pound the old one down into the soil. Never worked with these before. Otherwise, it's pretty cool.

Not yet. I did test fit all three cars and they should all work. Ended up having one spinner. We were trying to work fast since I was using epoxy as well and it set while I was torqueing and preparing the anchor. Was able to drill out the epoxy and, even using it again, it didn't bite...

Got the cart/pump put together and as well as the columns. Should be able to the holes drilled, cleaned, epoxied, and anchors set tonight. So hopefully a test lift tomorrow! The sacrificial car will be my Crosstrek lol! This should be a game changer for me.

    New lift is almost installed.

Could you detail the process you used for using epoxy with the wedge anchors? I plan on the same. I also think your post was the one that alerted me to the veteran's discount. That came in handy :).

I read through your build, fabulous transformation. In my case, slab work is a last resort and not in the plans at the moment. Test holes show the concrete to be thick enough at 4-5". However, if I must pour, conduit is probably the way to go, so thanks for the reminder!

Thanks! I was on the other end of the spectrum for the Navy lol!

Considering that as well. However, I'm not sure either column will be a perm mount, at least until I pour new concrete in the back bay, and that's why I'm thinking wall mount. Not in a rush to do either, just need to see how everything fits and get a little insight on how it will play out long...

Old thread, but still relevant. Tons of great info. My MaxJax M6K gets delivered today! I read through the entire thread while it was being shipped lol! I have pretty bad neck(2 fusion surgeries) and back issues so this should be a life saver, or at least extender. My 15yo son will help me...

Regarding the "bumps", from researching it seems you can just grind the top of them off. May want to check with Bendpak or research some to confirm. The grease would be use to keep the epoxy from fouling the internal threads when using the standard anchors with some epoxy to help seal the...
