    Toolbox feet

Hi garage journal! I am wondering if it's possible to buy feet like the ones pictured. I want to take the casters off a box and put feet on it.

thanks, it was on sale for $5 so I couldn't not get it. I quit my job in August and am a full time student only now. Recently I got a check from my old job so I'm trying to get my tool set filled out with items I meant to pick up a few years ago. Frustrating not having everything I need.

Not pictured gearwrench 8-22mm non ratcheting wrench set and HF 25" breaker bar. Took a chance on the HF adapters and extensions.. if they break I will have to get something better, I guess that goes for the other HF items also. Should fit my needs for the most part though.

Help me identify this air impact wrench

you seem to be right, with that information and the one full patent number on the bottom I found an excerpt from a book on google. Looks like the patents expired in the late 80's and they removed the patent numbers in 1990 because they were no longer in force. So it must be a pre 90's IR 231...

Help me identify this air impact wrench

My dad passed this impact wrench onto me a few years ago and I would like to know more about it. Problem is a lot of the information is worn off the label.

    My Harbor Freight Investment

John, what's your experience with the HF tap and die sets... is the carbon steel set ok... this one? http://www.harborfreight.com/40-piece-metric-carbon-steel-tap-and-die-set-39384.html or do you have to get one of the alloy steel sets to get a quality set? seems the SAE and Metric sets favor...

Tool box organization-Metric and standard together or separate?

none of the above. I don't use any SAE stuff, though unfortunately I have a lot of SAE sockets, anyways I don't keep them in my box. I have the HF 13 drawer roll away, in the top extended drawer on the left side I have my 8 metric socket sets on ernst rails I have my impact sockets behind those...

    Hassled for tip at HF

I agree that waiters/waitress's should get paid a decent wage to begin with and not have to rely on tips... having said that, I tip my waiter/waitress very handsomely... though I haven't every worked in a restaurant before I can appreciate all the **** they get from ******* customers, if they...
