    Wellcome to Siberia

So these garages you have. They are owned by your family and not just rented units? In the USA we have storage garages kind of like what you have but doing anything with lighting or a PIT is not acceptable. To me it seems that they are kind of like our condos but only for cars. As for the...

How did you guys go about attaching the fabric to the framing? I'm a designer for a company that makes open air structures (wood, fabric, and steel) that go up like Ikea furniture. I always love seeing how others go about their attachment.

GARAGE TIPS and TRICKS - POST 'em!

I always figured it was for assembly line/alignment. I have never been able to get a rotor off without removing the caliper AND its bracket. I have seen rotors crack in half just from hard braking (honda s2000 do it on the track quiet often actually) and they don't go flying, they pretty much...

GARAGE TIPS and TRICKS - POST 'em!

I would be worried about high temp (pressurized containers) at 300* as they might pop or the tip might get alil melty... i don't see a problem with 150* but 300* seems high to me.

Can you bend rubber hoses with a heat gun?

I can't remember the same of the "tape" but you can basicly wrap something (paper wadded up) and then tape it, heat gun it, and you have a tube, its some sort of rubber tape.

Remove two powerful magnets from the microwave before you trash it.

Ive been using hard drive magnets on my fridge for years, i don't think you can put any amount of paper between them and the fridge to cause them to fall off.

GARAGE TIPS and TRICKS - POST 'em!

I actually prefer the ones from sams club, the HF ones don't work with the sams ones, but you get 8 for 15 bucks instead of 4 for 10. just don't weld or grind over them unless you want millions of holes. also, the sam's club ones hold up better. They are hard to find depending on the time of...

    Building/Fab ideas

If you are making a snow mobile trailer, and use aluminum, id make a bolt in board for the carbides on the skis, those things will tear up aluminum in a season.

    Building/Fab ideas

jag, i don't think that would take 100 hours... id look into lo-cost style cars if it was my project. but yeah, what do the funds look like and in what field do you want to go? basicly what nasty ask.

playing around with thin gauge stainless

it looks like aluminum backer to me... which won't stick to the filler.
