Direct Lift ProPark 8S owners chime in

Had a PP8 Plus for over 12 years now and am completely satisfied. My controls are located exactly in the same position as Post 20. Put it there to be close to the power supply. It would be wise to consider a bridge jack. Really adds a lot of functionality to the lift. Got this tip from...

Any Pen Turners out there ?

Pen turning is addictive however is rewarding and they make great gifts. The options are pretty much limitless, and you can tailor the pen for the person you are making it for. Been making them for probably 12 or so years on a Jet midi lathe with no problem. For sharpening, a variable speed...

    Vidmar cabinet frame bent? Help

Just went through a very similar problem. Got a 5 drawer Lista off CL that had a similar racking issue to the one on the right in the picture above. Long story short, used a car trailer as a flat surface, strapped the cabinet to the trailer and used ratchet straps to re-rack the cabinet in the...

    Butcher block work bench top?

My bench and router table have very similar butcher block tops made with the same wood. Plenty stout and no need to add additional material to stiffen it up. Put a good finish (I used polyurethane) and you have a top that works well, looks good and will last a long time.

    Stanley Workmate or "Other"

I have an old Workmate and it is a good product. A few years ago, I picked up a Keter Work Table and liked it so much I picked up another to use together for longer items. The Keter Work Table folds up into a nice small package and stores easier that the Workmate. Either is a good choice...

What is it from a junk drawer?

I believe the metal one is used as a wedge to help remove a conical (Morse taper) chuck from a drill press quill.

    Experience with DeWalt pole saw

I bought one about a year ago and have been l happy with it. Have other Dewalt 20V tools and needed to cut down two Bradford Pear trees. Wanted to trim the upper branches before taking down the rest of the tree to make it more manageable. Worked great for that. Since then, I have used it to...

    Unknown clamp set

Looks like Rockler 4-way equal pressure clamps. Check out the Rockler.com website and search for 4-way equal pressure clamps. Great for edge gluing boards for something like a table top. They have a picture of how to build the boards needed to use them to sandwich the boards.
