I know it probably has several legit uses but to me it looks like something the Canadian Tire guy would wet his pants over. Too bad anyone outside Canada unlikely to understand why that's a bad thing.

What's your location? It might be a shot in the dark, especially this time of year, but you're not operating in cold temperatures are you? Just trying to think of what factors might cause the same issue on two different tools with similar but different mechanisms.

I didn't either until I tried to find a rebuild kit and noticed most of the parts breakdowns for it actually showed the 2135. The housings are cast to look different, but the internals are all identical. No luck firmly pressing the directional buttons while experiencing the issue hey?
