Same model different motors

Guys, just sharing a captain obvious moment. I went to HF and decided to buy a 29 vertical air compressor. Checked over the floor model, motor was 110/220v. I am thinking great, I am already wired up for 220v. Feeling pretty good about the price $357. Had them set the new compressor in the bed...

No, it is not a two stage, I misremembered it was a two stage:-). It looks like a two cylinder. I will keep my eyes open on Craig's list. I want the satisfaction of fixing something and not just tossing it.

I wish I would have done the maintenance, but 25 years is pretty good.

I did a search and seems leaking tanks (rust perforation) is common for these compressors. I bought this one, 220v, new in 1990 and never bothered to do any maintenance. Seems to run fine other than the tank. I went to the Sears parts site and the tank is discontinued, not available. Searched...

Thanks guys, I will continue searching for some nice modular cabinets, thinking 1x 37" high 8 drawer should accommodate all the tools I want to store. If you run into anything please share, and I will do same!
