tap size is somethings like .453 for 1/2-20. a 7/16 i.d. pipe is .437 would think its possible with a good sharp new tap with a long taper start. oh and lots of patience. out of curiosity why the limitations ?

i have their heavy duty 20t brake press. got it at the puyallup fair 4x4 show. great solid heavy piece of equipment. if i had the spare coin would buy the press plates and the finger dies. sadly after the shut down i cant even afford the press brake backstop.
