Help with Fan control and lights/outlet

Can I ask why? I know the lights not going to be pulling enough for it to need 12-2. it's a in-ceiling can with a 15 watt lamp (CFL) And will have 2 more with it eventually, but thats not enough to need #12 wire.

Help with Fan control and lights/outlet

I'm going to be installing a Fan and lights in my garage and would like to run them from the ceiling outlet (for the door opener, thats not being used) I want to put in a 3 gang box with Fan control, then light switch, then outlet as there is currently only a single outlet in the garage. Lawn and Garden Storage Monsters

aparently moving into a place with a HOA tends to keep the resale value up some...no 30 cars in the driveway, or gas 3 ft tall...."The better the neighborhood looks, the more money you can get". It seems silly to me. Take responsibility for your stuff, and the neighbor should too...

    Lending Tools to Your Neighbor

I haven't bought saw blades yet, but I'm guessing the more teeth the more expensive? I live in a townhouse, and would have to guess that most of the neighbors have less tools then I do, so I always visit my Dad (or he visits me), If I can't find it in his garage it's either not made, or it...

    Hi, and Garage updates.

it is a town house, so it's the only access out the back on the main floor. If we want any air to travel through the main floor, we open the windows in front and the garage door. The Screen Door keeps the bugs out and the Pets inside. (4 kitties and a puppy) Probably should Paint it white...

    Hi, and Garage updates.

Hi, My name is Rob, and I'm reletively New here, atleast with posting. I bought a Town house a little over a year ago, brand new, and have had some time to work on getting the 2 car garage arranged to my liking. I added a Liftmaster 3800, and had the garage door converted to a High lift door...

    Tankless water heater opinions

we have a Renia, and it has been great so far. there are 4 adults in the house that shower 1-2 times a day, and we never run out of hot water. (If your putting in a large jucuzzi tub or something similar you might want this too, (enough hot water to fill up the tub) the only issue we have is...

    Good garage door threshhold seal?

My door keeps freezing to the floor, especially when the car comes in and the snow and Ice melt off it and pool up by the door. Would a better threshold help me stop this?

How cold is too cold ?

Damn, my house is kept between 60-65F. The garage is great at 35+, 40 would be great for me. I can wear a sweater and jeans and be fine doing work in the garage. And if it was just me I would have the house at 58. But I gotta keep the Kitties and the Puppy warm, and maybe the G/f too.

Man door in a residential over-head door?

if your getting a new door, what about a bi-fold door or something that opens out/ slides across that you can put a regular door in? since it seems like you don't need all the opening, maybe a sliding door would work for you, and give you a place for a "man"-door?

    Cost for high lift doors!?

I can see what your talking about, but am thinking that you would have to cut to many supports for the roof, and it would fall down....
