Need to put a 4 ply 2x12 beam on top of a 6x6 post. So beam actual size would be 6''. Post would be 5.5". What bracket would everyone recommend?

Any one else have problems with spiders? Have always had Daddy long leg spider making huge webs in my shop. Did a major clean up last week and walk through it again today and walked through three new webs. Was thinking of one of those timed dispensing devices that spray a chemical.

My ballast are starting to go on my 48" shop fixtures. I would like to replace all the T8s to Led. Been watching videos on how to do this and it looks simple. My problem is that my fixtures only have wires at one end at the bulbs and only one wire to each bulb. So I have 2 bulbs, 4 tombstones...

I use a water filter and shop vac. Works great and its cheap.there are lots of plans for them on Google.

If it has a air filter/screen in the air intake make sure its clean. Didnt even know mine had one until there was know air flow one day.

There is non slip paint available. cheapest option would be a little sand like you mentioned.

I had a problem last year. My Mother told me to try the Juicy Fruit trick.I dont know if it worked for sure but I put a bunch in the tunnels and they disappeared. Cant say it work for sure but there gone. I got some grub killer while I was visiting the USA last fall to also get rid of skunk...

Dont know about cost in your area. I had mine done last year. Make sure you discuss with your contractor here it will drain and slopes for drainage. Make sure they know you dont want mini little lakes every where after a rain. And if there are leaves blowing around when its being finished...

As mentioned make sure there are no floor mats on the floor. Its a huge problem on all cars.Toyota seems to be the worst. I had a customer with a Pacifica and complained that it wouldnt accelerate. There was 3 floor mats jammed up under the pedal.

I have a tube heater in my shop and the elbows on the exhaust end are getting rusty. Will need to replace soon but I dont know what to ask for. I dont think their just galvinized 4 inch elbows.

I have a Busy Bee Cx408 in my 28x30 shop mounted at the ceiling. Works great.Wish I had it years ago.I paid $125 used for it off Kijiji. I agree that you need to control as much dust at the source as possible. .

Dont use the foam stuff that fits in your gutters. Small bits get in the foam and make there way to the bottom and start to compost and leave a layer of top soil in there that just gets deeper and deeper.

I have heard of spreading bags of concrete on top and wetting it.:dunno::dunno::dunno:
