    Outswing vs inswing

Security is a concern but I have 3 overhead doors and 3 windows. If someone wants in theyre going to get in. My bigger concern is rain/ wind beating on the door. But now that im thinking about it the inswing seals will probably hold up better stopping a driving rain

    Outswing vs inswing

Looming at adding a door on west side of my building. Thinking about going with an outswing to help with the driving west rain and wind. Am I thinking of this right? Or will an outswing not be anymore beneficial for that and im just spending twice the money

There was just the 2x4 header above the doorway. The first 2 studs at the lower part of the stais we king and a jack. But the other side of the header was just tonailed into the outside wall. No king or jack stud.

Main floor of 2 story support wall

Floor joist run parallel with this wall. I openeeld the whole wall up. Both top plates were staggered and did not end on top of studs. Along the outside wall the door header and the top plates were just the toe nailed to the outside wall stud
