Hi all Going to have a 24 x 42 garage built and still not sure of how many doors would be best. Planning on (at this point) a 8' door with 1' inbetween a 18' double with 1' inbetween another 8' door.. This leaves 3' on each end for shelves etc. One 8' will have 12'6" ceiling for potential lift...

Forgot to say I am in south west Ohio. Would it make a differnence if your next one was attached to your 5 yr old house vs detached?

Going to build 3.5 car (or should i just go 4) , 24 x 42 w/2nd floor loft, garage with a 10x20 breezeway connecting to house and room for car lift. Getting bid on foundation and guy said "post framing" would save alot off the foundation and be much quicker and could be finished inside and out...
