I’m looking for some advice from the HVAC, Blower, and electric motor crowd here. Our older furnace’s blower motor went out recently from what I believe was lack of lubrication on the blower fans bushings. It is an older oil furnace that has had a gas conversion burner installed and I did not...

I have the same lathe that I inherited from my Grandfather and use it all the time. I run it with a 1/2 hp 1750 RPM motor. You want 1750 RPM, 3450 RPM is too fast. One tip, don't over lube the head stock bushings. Use just a couple drops of oil in the bushing cups under the belt cover. If...

Vintage machinery and OWWM are both great sites and I have picked up a lot from the people there.
I just recently picked up a Powermatic PM143 BS off Seattle Craigslist for $120 and went looking for advice. I'll give a thumbs up to Accurate bearing near Chicago. They had the upper wheel...

We surplus these out of our department quite often. If your looking for one and live near a university, check with the property surplus and transportation units. Many universities sell surplus to the public. Most states also sell off agency surplus to the public.

I hate to add this , but do a compression check on 6. Had the same problem on our '02 Escape on number 2. Replaced plugs, swapped out coils... It turned out to be a bad piston. Ended up putting in a remanufactured the engine I could get a deal on.
Good luck. I hope it just a plug or injector.
