    Here are some updates on the Holland’s 16. Mostly been working on the pedestal. Pedestal is made from a solid 2” drive shaft and counter weights. Beautifully milled modern metal. Pedestal itself weight in at around 400lbs. From what specs I could find the Hollands 16 weighs in around 170lbs...

    Rock island no 83 vise restoration

    Here is my latest restoration. Came from my stepfather's family farm coast of maine. I cleaned it. Buffed it with a wire wheel on the grinder. The metal was really pretty so I put on a clear coat enamel which I baked on at 250f for a couple hours. Three coats total. Letters are silver...
