    Soldering epiphone..

There was some plastic on the tip when I got it.. Maybe it "was" a special tip made for plastic welding.. thanks guys.. I thought it was hot when they put it into the crate and maybe the plastic melted onto the tip.. but it all makes sense now..

    Does Anybody Stick Weld Anymore?

Simply put.. Stick welding is the most basic welding that can be done.. simple to understand.. easy to learn.. therefore it is so widely taught.. So i wouldnt be too quick to pull them over the coals for it, cos welding is still welding.. the only thing that matters is skill & taking pride in...

Re: Your thoughts on using just 1/4" and 1/2" drive tools Abandon 3/8" drive? Most guys i know here in RSA use primarily 1/2" equipment & 1/4''.. I speak under correction here but i think allot of mechanics in this country use those two variants to do most of their work.. I have quite a few...

What is my Rachet or Drive Size??? How can i tell

Can we all get back to the topic now? If you use a wrench to check the ratchet out then it will be the fastest method.. It will either have 1/2" ie. 12mm head, or a 3/8" ie. 9mm head or a 1/4" ie. 6mm. Determining that can also be done with a vernier..
