    cornerbead??

    For me its been drywall screws but not too deep so that you twist the bead. Easy as you go. The bead is supposed to go on straight with the mud filing it in so that in makes a good lookiing corner. The are actually easy to do.

    I've got an old optical you can find those around prettty cheap. Most contractors are converting over to the laser types. Depending on what you want to do and your precision tolerance they work very well and aer easier to use. They are also getting cheaper by the minute.
