What kind of pliers do you use? I might pick up some 90deg needle nose ones. I got it once before with regular needle noses.

Luckily, I found it! Didn't expect that. And yeah, these things are a massive pain...from now on I'll probably just do an ATF soak every now and then.

I was just lubing up the ratchet and then went to put the snap ring back on, heard a ping and the snap ring is forever lost. :lol: What size snap ring do I need? Thanks!!

Thanks guys! I should've been more specific...I don't need impact ones. Price point wise, I think I'd be more in the Tekton, Gearwrench range, as much as I'd like to have the SK set.

Bought a metric 1/2" deep well socket set from HF last year and have been very pleased with it other than it does not go past 19mm. Does anyone make a "large size" set that would go from 21mm to 27mm? I know I could piece it together, but figured maybe someone makes a set that would save $$$...

Once I had dropped an SK socket into the engine bay of my Jeep, figured it was gone. A week later I had to take the engine skid plate off for something and I found it laying in there. Had driven about 500 miles in that week through all kinds of weather and it was still there!

Is SK going to continue making the round heads?

Walmart sells Dickies, are those the same quality as normal Dickies? I don't have a job that requires them at all but thinking it could be good enough for the weekend warrior wrenching I do once I ruin the rest of my "****** clothes" I currently use for working.

Man I want one so bad. IDK why but I have a soft spot for SK.

x2. Gearwrench would likely be easier to warranty (if the Matco driver would get ****** if you didn't buy from him).

My most recent Gearwrench stuff (past year) has been China. Set of SAE and Metric racheting combos, non racheting metric wrench set, wobble extensions, metric flare nut wrench set.

I'd hit up garage sales if I had the time to build up to it.
