Has anyone ever bought from tooldesk.com?

Thanks. I had decided to not buy from them, got the SK set I wanted from Amazon. James

Has anyone ever bought from tooldesk.com?

Nope, didn't see them on Facebook, came up in a web search for a specific SK 1/2-drive set I'd like to buy. I'm naturally cautious when prices are much lower than other top, competitive sites. I've used/preferred ToolTopia and Amazon in the past for SK purchases. Thanks for the reply. :)

Guess nobody had/has, nor answered? I'm looking at them now myself and wondering...

    Introducing RoadTraveler.net

I found Garage Journal several months ago because I was researching bubble tire balancing techniques and found a thread here. Since then I've enjoyed the community, mostly in regards to tools. I'm a journalist and gearhead, and have a little blog that may interest some of you. There isn't...

    Tundra bumper start

Many aftermarket bumpers are made of 3/16", seems like enough. Nice work, looking forward to getting some nose armor on my truck in the coming months.

20 Armstrong ratcheting wrenches, 12 deep sockets

I noticed the same thing, squared edges compared to the rounded edges on my Craftsman reversible wrenches. Seems like the Armstrongs won't dig into your hand as much if you lean on them.

20 Armstrong ratcheting wrenches, 12 deep sockets

Your reversible Gearwrench looks about the the same length as my reversible Craftsman, much shorter than these reversible Armstrongs.

Maybe military folks can buy the kit for that price at the PX, but obviously we can't. If so, where? As you stated, the discounted retail prices for lessor wrench kits are more than we paid, without the extras. I would have like to purchase second set just for the ratcheting wrenches for my...

20 Armstrong ratcheting wrenches, 12 deep sockets

You're correct. I played with them some more this morning, changing the direction, seem better already. I remember some of my old Craftsman being sticky and behaving similarly when they were new a few years ago, but they work 'right' most of the time now, except for the occasionally...

20 Armstrong ratcheting wrenches, 12 deep sockets

Re: Good Armstrong Warranty News It took about a full week, but I'm in the west. It arrived on the date they said it would, but there were also shipping updates as it progressed across the country.

Need a new tool brand- gave up on Craftsman

The Armstrong I purchased was one big surplus set from Uncle Sam's Retail Outlet to get the ratcheting combo wrenches. I've purchased some large S-K socket sets (& hex bits) recently, and plan to focus on the S-K brand when I can, but will not rule-out other 'deals'.

20 Armstrong ratcheting wrenches, 12 deep sockets

Good Armstrong Warranty News Knowing that Uncle Sam's is a surplus retailer and the kit I/we purchased is not a normal Armstrong kit, and Uncle Sam's is 'sold out'...I went straight to Apex/Armstrong for warranty service. I called the customer service 800 number on Armstrong's site, and...
