Nope, didn't see them on Facebook, came up in a web search for a specific SK 1/2-drive set I'd like to buy. I'm naturally cautious when prices are much lower than other top, competitive sites. I've used/preferred ToolTopia and Amazon in the past for SK purchases. Thanks for the reply. :)

I noticed the same thing, squared edges compared to the rounded edges on my Craftsman reversible wrenches. Seems like the Armstrongs won't dig into your hand as much if you lean on them.

Your reversible Gearwrench looks about the the same length as my reversible Craftsman, much shorter than these reversible Armstrongs.

Re: Good Armstrong Warranty News It took about a full week, but I'm in the west. It arrived on the date they said it would, but there were also shipping updates as it progressed across the country.

The Armstrong I purchased was one big surplus set from Uncle Sam's Retail Outlet to get the ratcheting combo wrenches. I've purchased some large S-K socket sets (& hex bits) recently, and plan to focus on the S-K brand when I can, but will not rule-out other 'deals'.

Yep, the box was sealed. I was also thinking–very poor quality control for that 15mm to leave with no 'guts' in the ratcheting end. Since my kit was one of the last few kits as well, I don't imagine there is a replacement available from Uncle Sam's, which means I have to try for warranty...

Opened my box of tools this evening, it mostly looks good. Some wrenches were scrambled as others reported. A couple of my ratcheting ends are sticky (operating them with my fingers), the 18mm in particular is currently seized and won't move. My 15mm is completely missing the guts on the box...

I agree with your technique of shopping carefully and avoiding the kits with "stuff you don't use". Good for you seeking out the USA products.
