You're right that is a yard stick. I was back in a different Walmart to take the picture and they didn't have the framing squares that the previous Walmart did. But it was the same brand so I took the picture so you could get the idea.

I went back to check, Walmart sold Empire framing squares (made in the USA) and their brand Hyper Tough framing squares AND speed squares (both made in USA)

It was either Hypertough or Mintcraft I can't remember now. And we are talking framing squares. I didn't check where walmarts speed squares were made.

Idk if I'm late to the party but I went to Lowe's to buy a framing square and saw that all Swanson stuff is now made in China. Even Walmarts brand framing squares are made in the USA and are the same price if not a few cents cheaper. It may not be a big deal to everyone but it annoyed me...

I'm headed to Maine tomorrow from NY and was wondering if anyone knows of some scrap yards I can pick along the way. In NY where I live there are no yards or places to pick that allow you to pick. I'm looking for old vices and anvils and maybe some other random ****. Thanks

I've recently switched to Bahco for my home tool box but these husky adjustables are really great quality. Home Depot doesn't sell them anymore but I'm sure whoever manufactured them for husky still makes a similar pair. Anyone know? Thanks

Awesome set up sir. Is your top 3/8? Also, that other bench in the back is beautiful. You bringing up the "no support issue" under the 1/2" makes so much sense and I'm most certainly passing this table up. I'm just going to search around a little more and do it right the first time Thanks everyone

Oh yes sorry there is a set of what looks to be original aluminum wire running from the capacitor to the Power cord that is wire nutted. Isn't aluminum and copper a bad combo?

okay but now my next problem is the wires on the power cord are all dry rotted and cracking with bare wire showing coming from the capacitor. The power cord is soldered to the capacitor. do I have to get a new capacitor now ?

I'm just running 220. It wasn't about saving money its just annoying because my panel is in a finished portion of my house about as far away from the garage as possible. thanks for the help fellas.

Whats the harm of running it on 110? I had it going on it and it seemed to have plenty of power.
