Most people park daily drivers on the solid tiles. From what I've read, there is no issue with this. I would bet the big reason for ordering slotted tiles would if you have floor drains. Otherwise, you're better off getting the solid tiles. If water gets through the seams, it will drain out...

I've had mine for about ten years. I love it. I've used it for many tasks such as drywall cus, cutting vent holes in laminate flooring as well as other tasks. I only just recently bought a jigsaw since I used the Rotozip for these tasks as well.

I've used many, but for a long lasting, low effort shine, I would have to say Zaino. BTW, consumer reports rated Black Magic liquid tops in their most recent test.

I couldn't do it online, but they let me do it in the store.
