Hi Ryan,
Sorry about that. I am not sure where Tony came from either. Like I said earlier the only extra nut around here is the one turning the handles on my vises... Too much coal smoke at the forge I reckon.
Thanks for the help though.
By the way Tony, great looking job on the redo!
Did you have to remove the handles? My box looks like it may have been in some water at one time or left out in the weather and I may have to remove some of mine.
I have a few old vises, but all of them are in use and only one similar to yours...
Thanks thehorse13,
Those are the ones I was looking for. Even when opening them up in another window though I cannot read the model number. Is it Model #1110? I appreciate all the help.
Thanks Tony,
That was the correct thread as the post from the horse13 shows. The ten drawer bottom looks like it fell off the back of a truck loaded with tools. It is usable, but it would take some torch work and/or new sheet metal to get it into good cosmetic condition. It may be available later.
Hello All,
After looking for a long time w/several feelers out there a friend found this 10 drawer 60's vintage RemLine tool chest for me just one county away. It has been repainted and mishandled. Lots of TLC will get it ready for tools again. There was a ten drawer RemLine roller cabinet with...
Ricky,
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the CL posting and your box looks more like a KRA-377. Mine is older and on the collectingsnapon.com website the KR-377B is in the 1960 catalog, but not the 1962. I am posting a picture of mine. I believe mine is actually a KR-377 with no "a" or "b"...
zkling,
Thanks, just what I needed to know.
Ricky Joe,
So do you have a drawer or complete cabinet or a cabinet you are parting out or are you just kidding?
Ronnie
Hello everyone,
Are the two top drawers in the SnapOn KR 377 the same? The top drawer of mine is missing and the one in the box has a divider running in the center from the front to the back. If I make one I want it correct as I can get it. A picture would be great if they are different. Thanks...
slowtwitch posted this picture on May 25, 2009 and it is the absolute closest to the chest I am looking for except for the drawer pulls. The rectangular badge on the left of the bottom drawer is correct and the lock is correct for the year and model I have been looking for. The darker color of...
Hey Steevo,
Thanks for your reply. Pappy never had the roller cabinet only the top chest. The one you posted is similar, but his never had the top latch like your PowrKraft and the drawer pulls were a 'tapered' design like on the drawing I posted earlier. The badge on the lower drawer was...
I have broken three of their wrenches before. Once they changed out the whole set and the other times they replaced the wrenches. The last time the original set I bought was no longer available and they replaced it with a better wrench.
zkling,
I took a few minutes and looked around in the outbuilding today where I found the 377 in hopes of finding the drawer to no avail. There is some more stuff to move in that building and another building to look through so I may come up with a drawer yet. One of my brothers said the front...
Thanks zkling.
You were correct on the tall order. The Snap-On box is actually a KR 377 (from the collectingsnapon.com website: catalog year 1948). The Tetris quote is also correct. For reasons I now cannot remember I had to bolt it to the wall on the finishing side of my blacksmith shop and it...
