More discoveries in the ol' garage

Good morning, I might not be looking in the right spot, either. It was getting dark and I didn't have much light in the garage. Let alone not having my reading cheaters :wtf:

More of the same hacksaw. The number 5 is up and to the left of the circle next to the blade at the handle end of the saw. One can just barely make it out. And the other end

More discoveries in the ol' garage

Here's a few more finds I dug out today at my mom's old garage. This first one is a Nier Feuerhand 260 kerosene lantern. It needs some cleaning up but it's not in bad shape at all. It's hard to tell but the glass has a red tint to it. If anyone has any info on these lanterns, feel free to...

    Finally finishing it!

The "clacking" comes from the RD hitting the covered floor. It's a floating floor, so there's some give. The weed paper or if you wanted to, install felt paper, keeps the RD from coming into contact with the covered floor and eliminates the "clacking". Clear as mud?

It's there all the time. It's eliminated with the weed paper. It was recommended due to its draining properties. You don't want something made for inside applications in case it gets wet. Now, there is some noise from shoes hitting the RD but very minimal.

I think you're right. I haven't seen a bad one either. It's definitely an upgrade to an existing floor, wherever they may be. I was able to cover up a couple minor cracks without the hassle of mixing concrete or patching areas. Gives the garage a whole new look, too.

    Finally finishing it!

My Racedeck floor is all finished and I must say it looks pretty good!! What a pleasure to work with this flooring. It was easy to order, easy to put together, easy to cut (with a table saw) and easy on the eyes. Tell me what you think, but ultimately I have to live with it whether or not...

    RaceDeck decisions

I just finished my floor this morning (I plan on posting pics later) and I went with the first initial of our last name. Then I "squished" it what appears to be a hydraulic press, very cool looking. I used black, alloy and graphite colored tiles. Not real busy and very subdued. Just...

    Finally finishing it!

Yup, I could hardly wait to get started!!! Couldn't wait for this weekend.:lol_hitti So here are a few pics of the underlayment I put down, the few boxes that I got started with and the progress. I was surprised at how fast this Racedeck went down. It took me longer to get started than it...

Yeah, I'm gonna have to cut the sides to equal them out and center up the floor. I figured I'll have to cut tiles in half and use the other half on the opposite side. I understand I can use my table saw which will cut down on time.

My Racedeck came today, 10 boxes!!! Too bad I have to work tomorrow  But I'm off this weekend :D I'm hoping it'll only take me a day to do. 20 x 21 garage. I guess it depends on the number of beers I have, eh? :lol_hitti Pic's will surely be posted.
