They are getting ready to pour my concrete this week finally. I have been researching for months on different types of floor coating systems. I am about to the point of just spraying the concrete with a densifier and polishing it. The only thing I can't get a handle on, is what this will cost...

Don't assume I am a concrete expert, I don't know squat about finishes. What is a cure and seal exactly?

It's actually for the shop floor. I thought it might hold up better. I wish I could just add something that would seal the concrete to prevent staining. I might just acid etch it and seal it with a matte clear of some sort.

How was the noise? I have a couple of the 42" barrel fans like @fitter30 mentioned, but the noise is pretty obnoxious. THey make some that are approx. 36" and they move about 10K cfm. Where were your inlets?

I am curious about these. I am looking at building a 40x100 with 40x20 of it being 2 story office etc. So in essence, a 40x80 shop area. If I have the big fans, say 8' diameter, does this hurt or help radiant heat? Or make no difference?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. They have whole house versions that supply washing machines, dishwashers, showers etc. I have one in my travel trailer that I installed and it never runs out of hot water. I actually have to throttle it back to keep it from short cycling.
