thanks for all your replies. I rented a drywall lift from a local big box store ($12) and it worked great. Now I just have to finish the venting, gas line and thermostat.

I just picked up a Modine HD45 heater for my garage. I plan on installing it in my garage which has an 8' drywall ceiling. Can someone suggest the best way to hang it a few inches from the ceiling? Also, is there a place online where I can get the venting material? Thanks very much, RPGR90s
