I have some old craftsman jacks. The model numbers were on a sticker on top of the jack. Long worn off. Have seen a rebuild kit on Amazon.

    Old socket sizes - SC30

I have some old sockets. Some of them are marked SC 7 or 29 or 30 if you run a search for socket sc30; you'll find some for sale What is the logic in the size convention? Why did they size them like this?

Clay soil is killing my trees

I got a 40# bag of gypsum at Lowe's and walked around a grass area with bare spots because of clay. It immediately softened up the clay once it was wet and dissolved: Soil Doctor Pelletized Gypsum Soil Repair 40-lb Organic Gypsum Improves Soil Structure...

    Good Rivnut tool?

Just ordered the 1/4" mandrel and nose piece for my kit from Astro. Extremely reasonably priced. I was shocked. They have a lot of cool tools available. Stock up your tool boxes.

    Good Rivnut tool?

Astro makes one. I've installed 50+ of the 1/2" size: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JBNANEE/?tag=atomicindus08-20 They have some other kit mixes for a few dollars less if you don't need the 1/2" mandrel.

HF 4x6 band saw blade tracking

I've had the previous green model for about 20 years. Here's how I dial in the blade. Get it on both pulleys and close the door. Also setting the cutting speed to the slowest speed helps too initially. Get something expendable to put close to or lightly against the blade on the table to keep...
