I
I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic and I work on DD15/DD13 engines in Freightliner cascadias and the head bolts are 12 point 3/4 headed bolts and the flywheel bolts are 12 point 3/4 headed bolts. Sometimes my 1/2” Milwaukee can’t get the head bolts or flywheel bolts off
Recently I got a 3/4 ingersoll Rand air impact wrench and I’ve been purchasing 3/4 12 point impact sockets and I purchased a 13/16 and a 15/16 at first. 13/16 came with a defect where the 12 point end is off center. Got it warrantied from wright themselves and now I just purchased a 3/4 12 point...

Yep this is what their new stock looks like. If you get the red case it’s old stock but from now on they are manufactured in mainland China but Matco is still using Sunex even though they are in China now. Kinda sad because I love Sunex for the price point but I don’t want to support China so I...
Originally the ADV was made in Taiwan and outsourced to Sunex but now Sunex has outsourced impact socket production to China now. Their modern impact sockets look like this now
